These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FamVenture (the "Site"), a family activities directory for Southwest Ontario operated by FamVenture ("we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. What FamVenture Is
FamVenture is an independent directory of family-friendly activities, places, and events in Southwest Ontario. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of the businesses, venues, or organisations listed on this Site. Listing on FamVenture does not constitute a recommendation, warranty, or guarantee regarding any listed business.
2. Accuracy of Listings
We make reasonable efforts to verify listing information (hours, admission, contact details) at the time of publication. However, business details change. Always confirm current hours, prices, and availability directly with the venue before visiting. FamVenture accepts no liability for inaccuracies or changes in listing information.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use FamVenture for personal, non-commercial reference purposes. You may not:
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce listing data for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with FamVenture or any listed business.
4. External Links
Listings include links to external websites (venue websites, Google Maps). These links are provided as a convenience. FamVenture has no control over and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Visiting external links is at your own risk.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FamVenture will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or any activity or venue listed here. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site is limited to CAD $0 (this is a free service).
7. Intellectual Property
The FamVenture name, wordmark, and site design are our property. Listing data compiled by FamVenture may not be reproduced commercially without permission. Individual business names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
